Abstract


   Brick making is one of the materials commonly used for wall materials in buildings because brick is more time efficient and more practical. Brick making is composed of compositions between sand, cement, and water, in which the additives can be added.      


In this study using brick size of 30 x 15 cm with different variations. 1pc first variation: 4ps: 0sb. Second variation of 1pc: 3ps: 1sb. 1pc: third variation 2ps: 2sb. The fourth variation is 1pc: 1ps: 3sb.     


    The results of the average brick compressive strength variations of 1pc: 4ps: 0 sb are worth 2.58 MPa, the average compressive strength of the brick with a variation of 1pc: 3ps: 1sb is worth 3.18 MPa, concrete compressive strength with a variation of 1pc: 2ps : 2 sb is worth 3.06 MPa, and the concrete compressive strength value with a 1pc: 1ps: 3sb variation is 3.04 MPa.
