Abstract

Columns are the most important structural element in structural safety observation. (Nawy, 1990). However, there are often some deviation happened in making columns such as steel bar columns tilting and sloping columns. The purpose of this final project is to know the difference in column cross section capacity due to these deviations.

Deviation variation are divided into two types, steel bar columns tilting deviation as far as 10mm, 20mm and 30mm, and sloping column deviations at 0.2°, 0.4°, 1°, 2° and 3°.

In general the M-N interaction diagram has decreased capacity, except in conditions c>cb. Percentage reduction in upper section capacity in the condition of sequential maximum steel bar columns tilting at M = 0, c>cb, c=cb, c<cb, P = 0 for Pn is 0, -5.1%, -16.0%, -13.6%, 0, and for Mn are 0, + 2.2%, -5.4%, -5.2%, -7.6% of planned cross-sectional capacity and can be stated did not affect cross section capacity of the column significantly. The lower column section of the sloping column deviation with a maximum slope condition of 3° makes Mu magnification of up to 391% of the plan. Column collapse in all types of deviations is compressive collapse, except that in column 3° slope conditions.
