Abstract

Foundation is the lowest part of the building that continues the building load to the ground or rock beneath it (Hardiyatmo, 1996). From the method of supporting the load, the calculation of the pole carrying capacity is carried out to determine the amount of the pile's ability to carry the load acting on the soil layer.

The purpose of this paper is to calculate and compare the capacity of a single pile carrying capacity using sondir data and Standard Penetration Test (SPT), and calculate the most efficient pile group capacity. The data collected by conducting observations, retrieving data from the project and doing library studies. In calculating the carrying capacity of a single pile, based on sondir data using the Aoki De Alancer method and SPT data using the Mayerhoff method.

The results of the calculation of the value of single pile ultimate carrying capacity of 19,965 tons and 131,644 tons based on sondir data using the Aoki de Alancer method and for SPT data using the Mayerhoff method of 20,215 tons and 12,302 tons. From the calculation results, the most efficient capacity of the pile permit group is 1,722 tons using the Mayerhoff method.
