Abstract

ABSTRACT
Skywalk is a bridge between the beach club with Mall Plaza Balikpapan 2nd floor (two). The construction of the skywalk will be re-planned using hexagonal castellated beams. The purpose of this Final Project is to obtain the WF castella profile dimension, buckling and deflection on the bridge project between the beach club and Mall Plaza Balikpapan. There are 7 types of beams that will be planned ie type SB2, SB2A, SB3, SB3A, SB4, SB4A, and SB5 by using cutting angle 60º. From the calculation results obtained dimensions WF castella profile type SB2, SB2A, SB3, SB3A, SB4, SB4A, and SB5 of 187.5x75x6x9 mm; 250x100x5,5x8 mm; 312.5x125x6x9 mm; 375x150x6,5x9 mm; 437,5x175x7x11 mm; 437,5x175x7x11 mm and 500x200x8x13 mm. Bending of 0.9839 mm; 0.9755 mm; 0.9694 mm; 0.9632 mm; 0.9571 mm; 0.9571 mm and 0.9509 mm. And a deflection of 5.38 cm; 5.02 cm; 1.52 cm; 1.27 cm; 5.65 cm; 0.72 cm and 0.41 cm.
