Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll road project  section V located in Soekarno Hatta Km.13 with Contaktor who implements Beijing Urban Contruction Group Co. Ltd, , is one of foreign companies works in construction one of them is the toll road construction.

The research type use is descriptive research this project is to identify danger and analyzes work  risk  accident and control mechanisms toK3 risk in toll road project Balikpapan-Samarinda Section V.Method judgment standard uses / 2004: us zns 4360 risk management.

Validity test result and  reability  from questionnaires to workers was declared valid because the significant an under 0,05 and realible value cronboach‘s alpha above 0,60.Of the total 39 variable, the risks are categorized  very high risk is 1 risk ( 7 % ), high risk is 14 risk ( 59 % ), medium risk is 9 risk ( 21 % ), low risk is 15 risk ( 13 % ).The category of very high risk that the excavators tumbled from a height upon while digging soil with the value of 17.2 and followed by no brakes on heavy vehicle with the value of 14.56.
