Abstract
Drainage derived from English drainage means to drain, drain, dispose of, or divert water.
This study aims to design and redesign the dimensions of the drainage channel that is appropriate to accommodate the flood discharge. The research method used in this study is analyzing data by performing calculations based on rational formulas.
The results of data calculation are flood discharge in segment 1 of 0.793 m3 / sec, in segment 2 of 1.493 m3 / sec, in segment 3 of 4.490 m3 / sec, in segment 4 of 4.875 m3 / sec, based on the results of analysis of existing channel capacity shows channels in segments 1 and 2 are still capable of accommodating the planned flood discharge, segments 3 and 4 are not able to accommodate, to accommodate the flood discharge that occurs with dimensions that are in segment 1 in width 1 meter and 1 meter high, segment 2 with a width of 2 meters and a height of 1 meter, segment 3 with a width of 2 meters and a height of 1.3 meters, segment 4 with a width of 2 meters and a height of 1.3 meters with planned drainage channels made of material concrete.
