Abstract

In an effort to meet the needs of building infrastructure to be better, security and
comfort of visitors a top priority, especially the safety of building users against the
dangers of building collapse. Warehouse is a fixed special facility designed to reach
the service level target with the lowest total cost. The warehouse is needed in the
process of coordinating the distribution of goods
In this study using the image Shop Drawing development planning Basarnas
Building, Balikpapan City. Load calculations include dead loads, live loads, and
earthquake loads. Dead loads using loads that have been set SNI 03-1729-2002
section 6.2.2. The live load uses 7 experiments ranging from 350kg / 2 to 650kg /
m2. Structural analysis using computer aids application structure.
From the results of the study obtained the minimal live load value that can be held
by the plate is 400kg / m2. And in a prone condition at 500kg / m2 load. When using
the live load of 650kg / m2 the structure is not strong (collapsed) in withstanding
the working load. When using a 550kg / m2 load the column in the middle of the
building span is not strong enough to withstand the load.
