The purpose of the study was to analyze how much the level of satisfaction of Ro-Ro Bengkalis users is to determine the level of service performance based on the quality of service obtained and the perception of passenger prices at the Ro-Ro Bengkalis crossing port, so that it is hoped that this research can make a significant empirical contribution to the development of policies to improve service quality at the Ro-Ro Air Putih ship crossing facility. This study uses the CSI (Customer Satisfacyion Index) method to measure passenger satisfaction. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the performance of passenger services at the Air Putih Ro-Ro ship crossing facility is considered not good, this is based on a CSI value of 48.38% which indicates that passengers / users are less satisfied with the services provided, so it is necessary to improve in a structured and structured manner by related parties, especially on important items such as the availability of health workers and facilities, security officers, timeliness of departure, and discipline of officers, passengers, so that in the future the performance of passenger services on the Air Putih Ro-Ro ship facility can be even more.

Muhammad Rizki Romadhan Guswandi Faisal Ananda Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Rizki Romadhan, Guswandi, Faisal Ananda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2025-12-26 2025-12-26 3 2 41 53 10.32487/nuce.v3i2.589 Bridge Condition Assessment and Prioritization using Bridge Management System in Kutai Timur Regency https://ojs.poltekba.ac.id/ojs/index.php/nuce/article/view/636
This study evaluates the condition of 215 bridges across 18 sub-districts in East Kutai Regency using a Bridge Management System (BMS). Primary data was collected through visual inspections, analyzing element-specific (foundation, substructure, superstructure, and deck) and overall condition ratings. The bridge inventory is predominantly timber construction (48.37%) and features mostly short spans, though critical long-span bridges exist. Results indicate most foundation, substructure, superstructure, and deck elements are in good condition (ratings 1-2). However, a significant percentage of elements show moderate to severe damage (ratings 3-5), with 1.86% of decks and superstructures in critical condition. A bridge prioritization model was developed based on condition ratings and urgency. Strategic recommendations include data-driven maintenance planning, efficient budget allocation, and enhancing human resource capacity and technology for sustainable bridge asset management, minimizing infrastructure failure risks
Aco Wahyudi Efendi Novia Safitri Muh Yusuf Irwan Faisal Luzan Azan Zubran Copyright (c) 2025 Aco Wahyudi Efendi, Novia Safitri, Muh Yusuf, Irwan Faisal Luzan, Azan Zubran https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2025-12-26 2025-12-26 3 2 54 67 10.32487/nuce.v3i1.636 The Productivity Analysis of Heavy Equipment Usage in Cut and Fill Work for the IKN Toll Road Construction Project Section 1B, Bandara Sepinggan – Balsam Toll Segment https://ojs.poltekba.ac.id/ojs/index.php/nuce/article/view/664
Cut and fill work is a critical initial stage in toll road construction, including the IKN Toll Road Project Section 1B spanning the Bandara Sepinggan – Balsam Toll segment. The effective use of heavy equipment is a key factor influencing the speed and quality of earthwork operations in this project. This study aims to analyze the productivity of excavators, dump trucks, and bulldozers, as well as determine the optimal number of heavy equipment units based on actual operational conditions in the field. A quantitative research method was employed by collecting primary data such as cycle time and equipment efficiency, along with secondary data including equipment capacity and production targets. The results indicate that excavators with bucket capacities of 0.93 m³ and 1.4 m³ have similar productivity levels of approximately 100 m³/hour, requiring nine units each. Dump trucks with capacities of 22 m³ and 10 m³ produce 32.73 m³/hour and 29.03 m³/hour, with required units of 26 and 30, respectively. The bulldozer shows a productivity of 93.2 m³/hour requiring five units. The findings highlight that productivity is influenced not only by equipment capacity but also by cycle time and operational efficiency. The study concludes that planning based on actual field data is crucial for determining the required heavy equipment efficiently and preventing resource inefficiencies.
Dedy Sulistianto Tatag Yufitra Rus Mahfud Mahfud Copyright (c) 2025 Dedy Sulistianto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2025-12-28 2025-12-28 3 2 68 75 10.32487/nuce.v3i2.664 Flexural Performance of Concrete with Modified Eucalyptus Bark Waste as Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate https://ojs.poltekba.ac.id/ojs/index.php/nuce/article/view/662
The utilization of eucalyptus bark waste as an alternative material in concrete represents an effort to reduce by-products from the forestry industry. However, the organic nature of this material may influence the mechanical performance of concrete. This study investigates the effect of alkali-treated eucalyptus bark waste used as a partial replacement for fine aggregate on the flexural strength of concrete. Prior to mixing, the bark waste was modified through alkaline treatment using a 1% NaOH solution for approximately 24 hours to improve its compatibility with the cement matrix. Replacement levels of 0%, 1%, 2.5%, and 5% by weight of fine aggregate were examined. Concrete beam specimens were tested for flexural strength at 28 days. The results indicate that increasing the proportion of eucalyptus bark waste leads to a reduction in flexural strength. The control mixture (0%) satisfies the flexural strength requirement of K250 concrete based on SNI T-15-1991-03, whereas mixtures containing eucalyptus bark waste fail to meet the minimum criterion. These findings suggest that alkali-treated eucalyptus bark waste is not suitable as a fine aggregate substitute in structural concrete.
Azzan Farizi Anis Aulia Ulfa Fatmawati Fatmawati Copyright (c) 2025 Azzan Farizi, Anis Aulia Ulfa, Fatmawati Fatmawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2025-12-29 2025-12-29 3 2 76 89 10.32487/nuce.v3i2.662
